My blog is nominated for the Liebster Award!

As I was going to bed two days ago, I read a comment on my blog about someone nominating me for a "Liebster Award". I thought...I am nominated for..what?? So, I researched it for a while and I found out that it is an award for new bloggers (like myself!) with less than 200 followers in order to be introduced to more people.

"Liebster" in german also means "Dearest" (cool! right?)..And now I'm excited about all this!

Two more comments followed the first one, saying that I am nominated two more times! Wow...I'd like to thank Kindergarten Faith, Keepin' It Kool In KinderLand and Mrs.Payton's Precious Kindergarteners for nominating me!

I have been reading about the rules of the Liebster Award Nominees and Nominators and they are the following:
1. You must post 11 random things about yourself.

2. Answer the questions that the nominator set for you.

3. Create 11 questions for the people you nominate.

4. Choose 11 blogs you love (with less than 200 followers) and link them in your post.

11 random things about myself:

1. I like being forward with people.

2. I own two dogs - cocker spaniels which I adore (Their names are Danni and Joy!Male and female.)

3. I love arts and crafts so I have turned my Kindergarten classroom into an art studio for the children!

4. I like being very organized.

5. I am addicted to chocolate!

6. I always believe I am right about everything (Crazy..I know! But mostly I am! :-P )

7. I love travelling.

8. I would like to speak many languages..but I only speak two for now (Greek and English!)

9. My favourite colour is light blue.

10. I like decorating my classroom and my house.

11. I love horses and I would love to own one someday (although I don't think it would fit in my apartment..!)

1. When did you start blogging?

Two months ago!

2. Why did you start blogging?

To interact with people from all over the world and to share my work.

3. If there was one thing you could share with new teachers what would it be?

You are more important than you imagine.

4. What is your favorite thing to do?

Walk in the park with my dogs.

5. What is your favorite kind of ice-cream?

Chocolate!!

6. Would you rather snow ski or swim in the ocean?

I've never tried snow skiing, so I would love to do that!

7. What is your favorite book?

It's a children's book called "The Dot" by Peter H. Reynolds. So much meaning both for grown-ups and children.

8. What is the craziest thing a student has ever told you?

"Ms. can you adopt us all??"

9. What is something you have learned from your students?

Everything is simple and fun in life.

10. Do you have a class pet? If so, what? :0)

Nope! But last year we had a parrot!

11. What do you look forward to the most about blogging?

Communicating with people from all over the world.

Feeling like I am making a difference and..crafts!!

A house in the countryside.

I think light blue, because I like being calm and quite. This color represents these things for me.

5. What is the last book you read? Did you like it?

Eleven Minutes by Paulo Coelho. It was good.

6. Do you have a special talent (other than teaching of course!)?

Crafts!

7. What did you want to grow up to be when you were little?

A vet.

My laptop, I'm addicted to the web!

The kindest thing anyone has ever done for me, is to make me feel free to always make my own choices.
